If you just read

We count chapter views so the rankings work. To count each reader once, your browser keeps a random reading ID that says nothing about who you are; you can turn it off in Cookie settings. Our servers also see your IP address, used briefly to stop abuse and, without the reading ID, to count views.

We keep view totals per novel and per day, not a record of who read what.

If you have an account

We keep your email address, display name and a secure hash of your password, plus your bookmarks, reading progress and ratings, so they follow you across devices. Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in; it is used for nothing else.

What we do not do

We do not sell your data, show personalised ads or use advertising trackers.

Other services

The site's fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which sees your IP address when they load. Images are served from our own storage.
